It's sports at its most tribal, and pre-gaming at its most cinematic. It's the feeling of camaraderie, rebellion and possibility. It's the sound of Oakland. We don't need The San Francisco Chronicle archive to tell us what we're losing if, as A's ownership indicated in an April bombshell, a move to Las Vegas is all but a done deal. But I spent the morning there anyway, looking at photos, reading stories and affirming what most of us already know deep inside: Oakland fans are the best in the Bay Area.
