The sandwich-hungry customers keeping coming, so Wawa intends to build 12 more of its popular convenience store-gas stations in South Florida this winter and spring.The state's 250th store will most likely open next month in Boynton Beach, spokeswoman Jennifer Wolf said in an email Wednesday.The rapidly expanding, national chain of quick service food stores quickly received consumer acceptance in the tri-county area after entering the region more than four years ago. It celebrated its 10th anniversary in Florida last year, Wolf said.
