A flood advisory was issued for a portion of Tuesday as thunderstorms were working their way into South . The advisory was in effect for small portion of Broward until 3:30 p.m., with between 1 and 2 inches of rain already having fallen and an additional 1 to 2 inches expected, the National Weather Service said. Areas that could experience minor flooding include Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, Sunrise, Tamarac, Lauderhill, Oakland Park, Lauderdale Lakes, Wilton Manors, St. George, Golden Heights, Washington Park, Melrose Park, Franklin Park, Twin Lakes, West Ken-Lark, Broward Estates, Roosevelt Gardens, Rock Island and Boulevard Gardens.
