The Mai-Kai, known for bewitching dinner shows and stiff exotic cocktails, now expects to debut by 'late summer or early fall' at the earliest, developer Bill Fuller tells the South Florida Sun Sentinel. After a report on the Mai-Kai's progress surfaced this week, longtime fans of the Polynesian time capsule took to social media on Friday to share the restaurant's rumored opening month — June — but that's far too soon, Fuller says.
